Build Chest Muscles the Natural
Way
It has been said that it is not easy to
build chest muscles. To build big chest muscles you my
first take an inner look. A big chest starts with the
ribcage. You need to have well-developed intercostals, the
muscles that make up the chest, in order to have a big
upper chest. The next layer of muscles that you need to
develop is called the serratus anterior. The serratus is
on the top of the lower ribs. The main purpose of the
serratus is to pull the shoulder blades away from your
spine. The third and fourth layers of muscles are known as
the pectoralis minor and pectoralis major. The minor
starts in the upper ribs and operates the shoulder joint.
It is not visible. The pectoralis minor, however, is
visible. This is known as the pecs. Pecs are fan shaped.
The pecs are used every time a person turns anything with
there
hands.

To Get A Massive
Chest
Now that
you know what the chest is made up of it's important to
know what exercises will give you fast results to build
chest muscles. Many people think that doing a bench press
is the only way to get a barrel chest, but that is far
from the truth. Using a bench press is wonderful for your
body, but you can build chest muscles without one. If you
really want to see bigger results you should include more
exercises in your workout routine. Lift heavy weights and
then light weights in the same workout session. You
should do a number of different exercises at a time
because the more angles you go at it from the bigger your
muscles are going to be. Include flat, incline, and
decline movements in your
routine.
What if
you don't have access to any weights and your budget just
doesn't allow for you to spend money on dumbbells right
now? You can always use the body that God has given you
as a weight. Do push-ups off the floor and then move to
the wall to do push-ups. Different angles mean different
results. You could also try to elevate your feet on a
bench or other object to increase the amount of weight
that is on your arms. Try different and new things to see
what works for you. Pull-ups will also help your chest
muscles develop nicely.
Here is
an idea on how to work on those inner muscles - do yoga
or Pilates. Nobody even has to know that you do those two
forms of exercise if you do it in the comfort of your own
home. Not only will you notice that your balance and
flexibility is becoming greater, but if you do an hour of
Pilates you are sure to feel the burn the next day.
Another exercise that can help you build chest muscles is
to swim. Swimming is an awesome form of exercise since
it's so gentle on your joints. Swimming will make you use
your arms and that makes your chest muscles get a work
out as well.
Exercise
will give you the body that you long for. You don't need
to add any supplement powders to your diet or anything
like that. Just be consistent in your exercise program
and you'll be living a happy and healthy
lifestyle.
